Recently started using Google Docs with my kids. I like it and my classes are warming up to it as they discover how easy it is to work on their assignments in different locations regardless of hardware or software. Only complaint is when the school network slows down, so does Google Docs.

I teach my students to use Photoshop which is loaded onto every machine in my lab. The vast majority of them do not have Photoshop at home and it isn't readily available throughout our building. So, recently I introduced them to Picnik (www.picnik.com) an online photo editor. It isn't as powerful as Photoshop but it will do the basics, it's free and you don't have to register.

Recently discovered your site and love it. Already pointed a few of my friends your way. Keep up the good work.

I use most of the same tools as you! I also use Google Custom Search and del.icio.us for research projects, and Pageflakes for a class website with my students.

Richard-
Your production was clean and crisp. Good intro and outro. One little pause in your vocal, hardly noticeable. The brevity is a verrrry appealing feature. I wonder if you have to list your sources in your blog. Even though, in this case, there were only two, I think your listeners may find thateasier.
Glad you're doing this.
